When it comes to determining the length of aerial silks you need, the process is straightforward. Take the height from the ground to your rigging point, and multiply by 2, then add 1-2 yards additional to allow for some extra fabric on the ground. For example:

• 10-foot/3 meter ceiling height = purchase 9 yards of fabric.
• 12-foot/3.6 meter ceiling height = purchase 10 yards of fabric.
• 15-foot/4.6 meter ceiling height = purchase 12 yards of fabric.
• 20-foot/6 meter ceiling height = purchase 15 yards of fabric.

These are just recommendations, and you can purchase more or less fabric depending on your preferred length.

The silks set contains Nylon Tricot Fabric (no hardware). Aerial silks should always be installed by a professional rigger. Please search in your local area to find someone certified to rig your silks safely to prevent serious injury. Always use a crash mat when practicing aerial silks!
